Frequently Asked Questions

We’ve grouped together some of the most commonly asked questions regarding our events. Hopefully they’ll answer any questions you have, but if not feel free to get in touch.

Where does Let's Caper@Baltic take place?

Our brand new event – Let’s Caper@BALTIC takes place in the iconic Baltic Centre for Contemporary Arts on the south bank of the Tyne, the heart and soul of the region’s vibrant nightlife and cultural offer.

If you’ve never been to Baltic before, don’t worry it couldn’t be easier to get to us:

In two minutes on foot over the Gateshead Millennium Bridge from Newcastle Quayside.

By bicycle, scooter, or on skates along South Shore Road.

By Metro to either Newcastle Central Station or Gateshead Metro Interchange, both with a lovely walk along the Tyne.

By taxi or car to our front door (with paid parking behind the building).

Remember, The Caper is a safe space, it’s family friendly and everyone’s welcome – as long as you’re over 16! Our staff are there to help and won’t tolerate behaviour that makes others feel uncomfortable.

I’ve seen the published line-up. Do I really get all of that entertainment for my ticket price?

You certainly do, although of course your food and drink will be additional.

Can I pay with cash at The Caper?

Yes, you can use cash or card on the night.

Can I buy a ticket on the door?

We do keep a certain number of tickets back for purchase on the door.

Can I suggest bands, performers, or other features I’d like to see at a future Caper?

You certainly can! Please email sean@thecaper.co.uk with any suggestions.

Are there quiet areas at the Caper?

Not that quiet, but there will be a series of distinct “zones” for chilling out, for dancing, for eating, for watching and for doing your thing!
