Our Caper events are full of fun! This includes some amazing chefs and food vendors, brilliant bars, the areas best musicians, fun-filled comedy and even some awesome shopping experiences!
Yeah, it’s a lot isn’t it? Well what’s more is we deliver you all of this under one roof, for one single ticket price – pretty good eh?
Great Food
When it comes to food at The Caper, we’ve assembled some of the region’s most celebrated chefs as our top-class guest Caper operators.
At each Caper, one of them leads a team of their favourite up-and-coming colleagues, producing an amazing array of the best the North East has to offer.
And fear not, being the best doesn’t mean having to be the most expensive: there will be gastronomic treats for all purses!
Brilliant Bars
Worried you won’t get a drink at The Caper? Don’t be – we’ve got five bars, and pretty much anything you could order covered!
From the Riverside Bar opening onto its terrace overlooking the Tyne, to our pop-up cocktail bar on Level 5 serving Caperers chilling out, listening to some top jazz, and taking in the incredible views, you won’t be disappointed!
Amazing Live Music
Scratch the surface and the depth of local talent in the North East is amazing! Who knew? Well, we all did in fact!
We’re all about celebrating local talent at The Caper, that’s why we have some of the best local, regional, and national talent performing at our events.

As well as great food, fantastic bars, and excellent music, every Caper also has its own programme of other stuff to get stuck into.
This includes some of the area’s top comedians, dance-lessons, films, and Live Art for starters!
A veritable sweetshop for grown-ups, it can’t be true can it? Oh yes it can, but only in the North East!
As well as Baltic’s beautiful shop with its stunning stock, you’ll be able to spend, spend, spend (only if you want to!) at some of the best vintage and designer stalls you’ll find anywhere!
